I have been looking forward to giving this dessert a try in a multi cooker machine. On occasion I had spotted pictures of these online and was curious about just how shiny and perfect the petals appear. How hard could this be? It is actually incredibly easy if you have a silicone cake mold. I spent months scouring every store I could think of to find a mold. I had to eventually resort to ordering online. A Google search will lead you to individual molds as well as sets of three where each is a different flower.

To prepare the Chocolate Brownie Flower, pour 1 cup of water in your pressure cooker. Then prepare your favorite brownie mix according to the package directions. Brush the inside of your mold lightly with butter. Place the mold on a trivet with handles. Pour the batter into the mold and cover with aluminum foil. Lower the mold into your pressure cooker (this is where the importance of the handles on the trivet becomes evident) and set to cook on manual for 30 minutes. Allow it to natural pressure release for 10 minutes. Release remaining pressure, remove brownie flower and allow it to cool completely. Unmold and enjoy!
Recipe Tip: The brownie is essentially steamed so it will not have crispy outer edges. It is more of a fudgy brownie than a cake like brownie.
