I wanted to share my new favorite cookbooks for multi-cooker machines. Having recommended the Rootitoot Facebook page for a long time, I finally ordered the cookbooks a few months ago. They have quickly become the first thing I grab when I’m looking for a new idea or to see how Ruth recommends cooking something in particular.
Both cookbooks are full of down to earth recipes that show you how to do the food we love in our machines. She uses simple language and weaves stories throughout.
I have yet to have one of her recipes not turn out. Her beef stew recipe (book 1, pg. 92) …. well it was the best beef stew I have ever made. I had serious doubts about a steamed banana bread (book 1, pg. 33) but it was absolutely amazing. I did it in a bundt pan and added chocolate chips. Other favorites include the Boneless Turkey Breast Roast (book 2, pg. 132) and the Whole Chicken (book 1, pg. 116).
If you must start with just one, I would recommend the first one but if at all possible, order both!
These cookbooks are only available through online ordering. A Kindle version is also available. https://rootitoot.com/cookbook/
