Today’s tip involves clean up. I am actually very surprised at how easy it is to keep my inner pot clean. I do not have one of the non-stick ones. As soon as the food comes out of the pot, I fill it with water and let it sit. When washing I use the disks pictured to scrap any bits of stuck on food. They work great and do not scratch the inner surface of the pot.
If your pot is no longer shiny but showing signs of discoloration or even white dots, simply pour in enough vinegar to cover the bottom. Rotate the pot around so the vinegar coats the lower part of the sides and let it sit for a minute. Take a clean, damp cloth and rub the vinegar around over the problem areas, rinse, dry and you should be back to a sparkling pot again.
